Full judgment
1. MR GLASGOW: I appear for the GMC. Dr Beshir is not here nor is he represented.
2. MR JUSTICE CRANSTON: He is still in Sudan as far as you know. A serious case.
3. MR GLASGOW: The last we heard was on 23 December when he indicated he wanted his name removed from the register and would not co-operate and would not be returning.
4. MR JUSTICE CRANSTON: I have read the papers. The explanation he gives for having used those prescription forms does not seem to be very strong and it's a very serious matter. So you can have the 12 month extension.
5. MR GLASGOW: Has my Lord seen a copy of the costs schedule in this matter?
6. MR JUSTICE CRANSTON: I haven't.
7. MR GLASGOW: Can I hand a copy up, please. (_ Handed ) ( Pause )
8. MR JUSTICE CRANSTON: It is standard and work is done in house. I agree with that. So costs of £3,485.50.
9. MR GLASGOW: Thank you, my Lord.
